Welcome! I am a incoming 5th year Ph.D. Candidate in Technology Management at UC Santa Barbara (UCSB) and recipient of the UCSB's Chancellor's Fellowship.
My research examines how emerging digital technologies facilitate new work arrangements and the opportunities and challenges these present for workers' careers and livelihoods across the life course. In my dissertation, I focus on later-life careers investigating how workers retiring from full-time organizational employment transition to online freelancing and navigate the algorithmically-mediated organizing systems of an online labor platform.
I received my BS in Learning and Organizational Change from Northwestern's School of Education and Social Policy in 2018. After graduation, I spent three years working in Silicon Valley, including working in customer success at LinkedIn and product and customer operations at an early-stage start-up.
